Gun jezelf vandaag een moment voor jezelf en haal wat lekkers bij Chimney Cake Bakery & Café. De beste bakkerij in Amsterdam! Start bijvoorbeeld je dag goed en bestel een ontbijt. Wat dacht je van een verse croissant en een gezonde veggie smoothie met onder andere broccoli, spinazie en mango? Je kunt natuurlijk ook tijden je lunchpauze langskomen om te genieten van een chimney cake, onze specialiteit of andere zoete etenswaren. Denk onder andere aan cheesecake, red velvet cake of een dubbele chocolade muffin. Je kunt natuurlijk ook kiezen uit één van onze broodjes die ter plekke vers wordt gemaakt. Eén van de mogelijkheden zijn bijvoorbeeld een broodje gezond, broodje tonijn of een panini chicken. Een tosti ham-kaas is natuurlijk ook lekker.

Wij beschikken over een uitgebreid assortiment waar je uit kunt kiezen. Alles smaakt stuk voor stuk verrukkelijk. Toch willen we je graag kennis laten maken met onze specialiteit. De chimney cakes. Dit is een gebakje dat al eeuwenlang bestaat en oorspronkelijk uit Hongarije komt. Het is deeg dat wordt gerold en vervolgens wordt dat voorzien van een laag suiker. Tijdens het bakproces in de oven zal de suiker worden gekarameliseerd waardoor er een heerlijke zoete smaak ontstaat. Er kunnen naar wens ook nog verschillende toppings worden toegevoegd. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan nutella, vers fruit of ijs, wat lekker is bij warm weer. We maken het op authentieke wijze waardoor de chimney smaakt zoals het bedoelt is!

Ons bedrijf is opgericht in Polen maar inmiddels zijn wij ook in het centrum van het mooie Amsterdam te vinden. Voor de lekkerste koffie en gebak in Amsterdam moet je bij Chimney Cake Bakery & Café wezen. We zien je graag terug in de van Baerlestraat 92. We zijn iedere dag geopend van 08:00 tot 22:00.

We came here randomly because we needed coffee in the evening quickly, the coffee was nice, the waitress was very kind and the stroopwafel was awesome as well. The waitress immediately understood when I asked for an extra espresso in my cappucino, thanks again, it kept me up for the late night drive 🙂

I stopped in this spot for a cappuccino and croissant. I enjoyed it so much I stayed for a while to admire the interior decor and lovely atmosphere. You feel like your in a mom and pop cafe. Very cozy. The baked goods all looked and smelled delicious. I will go here again.

Nous sommes arrivés par hasard pour le goûter. Viennoiseries très bonnes. Et la serveuse très accueillante, elle nous a parlé en français plus facilement que nous en anglais. Nous nous y sentions bien.

Our teenager from America had a birthday in Amsterdam today. We chose this bakery to find a cake. The woman on shift was incredibly kind and had the whole establishment sing to our kiddo, stopped the music, and was so welcoming to us! Thank you Chimney for making this the end to a great day!

Found Chimney through google maps. It‘s a perfect place to rest in a busy area. Went there twice on different days and time of day. Staff was super friendly and helpful with questions. Orders were delivered fast.Ambience is calming and the music choice is superb.

Good café in the center of Amsterdam with the traditional Hungarian chimney cake. Given it's quite difficult to find better cafés in the center, this was a great discovery. The chimney cakes are not mind blowing but tasty and fresh. The rest of the pastries looked unfrozen though, similar to Starbucks. Coffee was good and not very expensive. However, I was disappointed that the waitress did not clean our table when we sat down. Previous customers left a bag of fries on the table and we had to clean ourselves the mayonnaise stains.

Una sorpresa encontrar este café cuando más lo necesitaba, he tomado un excelente pastel de chocolate y un té fresh mint calentito. La camarera súper amable y eficiente. Lo recomendaré a todos mis amigos, yo volveré siempre que pueda.

It was my first time that I tried chimney cake and I love it. But the Service was really slow and we wanted to big Cappuccino but the worker didnt Listen to us and she bring small Cappuccino and she said sorry o didnt hear it even though we mentioned that we want big Cappuccino for 3 times

Loved every bit of the cafe, one of the best places for breakfast sandwiches in Amsterdam for sure, for the 4 days i was there, I had my breakfast there. The staff was amazing, loved the service (special mention to Camila), which made me go back there again. Will definitely go there whenever I'm in Amsterdam, and will also recommend it to my friends and family.

El café es rico, las cosas que tienen para comer son muy buenas también. La atención es buena y el ambiente es agradable. Lidia nos atendió super bien. Buen lugar para desayunar o tomar un té a un precio bajo por el centro de Amsterdam. Siempre que me pedí algo me salió menos de 8 euros.

Great little place for sandwiches. Very Reasonable price for a quick lunch bite, but also a good space to come and chat. The coffee isn’t great, but it’s drinkable, and it’s usually a quiet enough space to talk. The pastries on the other hand are very nice! You should come for those.
Really nice place with tasty chimney cakes. The staff was pleasant and they were occupied with cleaning so we didn't even notice them there, which is kinda good 😆 Although, one star less because the chimney cake is beyond expensive, sorry.

A cozy little Café in the heart of the Amsterdam City Center. Really nice staff and tasty cakes. What more could you wish for? It's definitely worth a visit (or many visits 🙂 )
